Meet the Characters
Zora
Curious, lighthearted, and bold, Zora is the youngest child of Tunde and Caroline, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She meets the world with open arms and has been drawn to music from an early age, finding freedom in expressing herself through the performing arts. Deeply connected to her father, she quietly seeks his approval as she embarks on a journey to discover her voice and become the person she’s always dreamed of being.
Tunde
Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Tunde developed an intensity and a strong belief in a traditional path to success. These principles helped him build a stable life for his family, something he takes great pride in. Though firm in his views, he expresses a rarely seen tenderness in moments with his daughter, Zora, who gently challenges his perspective, and with his wife, Caroline, whose calm presence keeps him grounded.
Caroline
Also raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Caroline is the quiet strength of the family, steady, thoughtful, and present. She brings balance to the home, softening Tunde’s firm edges with patience and perspective. Her bond with Zora is tender and deep, seeing in her both a reflection of herself and the promise of what’s possible. Ever supportive, she gives Zora the space to grow into whoever she chooses to become.
The world of Dream
Zora’s journey is told through the spaces that define each chapter of her life. At home, rooms filled with warmth, family history, and cultural tradition become places where her dreams are both nurtured and constrained by the expectations surrounding her. Beyond the home, from her elementary school through college, Zora discovers spaces where she can explore who she is and allow her ambitions to grow on her own terms.
Each environment in Dream is inspired by real spaces and thoughtfully designed with cultural references, personal details, and lived-in props that reflect the people who inhabit them. Each space is more than a backdrop; it is a reflection of where Zora is on her journey toward becoming who she chooses to be.
